Dorrie Popovich has worked as an advertising copywriter and radio and televison commercial writer and producer since 1972.

    Her agency experience includes Ogilvy & Mather, Parker Advertising, J. Walter Thompson, Eisaman, Johns & Law, Foote Cone & Belding, Dick Orkin's Radio Ranch, and Klein/Richardson (creative director).

    In 1990, she formed the full-service radio production company, Funny Radio, and hasn't looked back since.

    Her account experience includes print, television and radio for Nissan Motors, Books On Tape, Maxwell House, Baskin Robbins, Redken, Western Airlines, Applause, Princess Cruises, Universal Studios, Neutrogena, Girard's Salad Dressings, The Sports Connection, Avis, NEC Cellular, Montessori Schools, Warner Bros., Falcon Cable, Disney, NBC and numerous financial institutions.

    Credits also include concepting, writing and co-producing TV segments for "Sesame Street"; co-writing a golf video ("Nice Shot"); writing and casting a cable television home shopping program; and concepting, writing and producing audio sales tapes for companies like Signature Eyewear, Meldac's Computer Games and Applause, and works on continuing projects for the Academy Of Television Arts And Sciences.
